ROBIN CRUISE has written several acclaimed picture books and middle grade novels as well as numerous elementary texts, both fiction and nonfiction. She has contributed to national magazines including People, Travel & Leisure, and Allure, and for many years she was an assistant editor and reporter (and the intrepid dining critic) for the Rocky Mountain News in Denver, Colorado. Robin is invariably inspired by and delights in her three fun (and interesting) young adult children, Andrew, Henry, and Hannah Bayer ... and her naughty black Labrador, Willy. Robin Cruise lives in San Diego, California, where she works for a children's book publisher and keeps things in perspective by basking in the glow of spectacular sunsets over the Pacific Ocean.
